Yesterday in the morning, I overslept. Thus I was late for work.

“Babe!” I called when I woke up from sleep and involuntarily threw my hand to where my wife slept. I was shocked when my hand did not touch anything. I rose up quickly, calling her name but a loud echo answered me. When I went to Cate's bedroom, she was not there too. Cate was our daughter. I knew she had gone to school. I quickly rushed to the bathroom and before I did anything, I quickly rushed to the sitting and checked my wall clock to see the time. 

Lol!!! It was 11:27 am! I quickly rushed to my closet, and picked a random suit without checking whether it was cleaned or ironed. I ran quickly to the kitchen, to check whether there was any food to carry as breakfast to eat at work. In my mind, I was angry with my wife for not waking me in time to go to work. I opened the dishes and was met with a big surprise. There was no food!! 😂😂, 

“This woman has not woken me up! Furthermore, she has not cooked breakfast for me!” I shouted angrily, picking my car keys to go to the car parking area. “She will know me today!😬😡😡🤬💀.” I shouted angrily while opening the door of the car. I inserted the key to switch on the engine. However, it was like the car never wanted me to go to work. When the engine could not start, I rushed out quickly determined to find a taxi. I tried ordering one online, but none was available to take me to work. 

“You want me to get fired!”

I shouted angrily. I rushed outside the house, with the quest of taking a public bus to take me to work. When I opened the door, I was met with a wide bright yellow light. “The sun is shining strangely today!” I marveled. I quickly run towards the gate.

“Guard! Nobody!” I called the security guard, “Open the gate! Are you sleeping?” I was angry and for a second or two, the gates opened themselves and I rushed outside running towards the nearest bus station. That's when I saw clouds and clouds of darkness unfolding before my eyes. 

“Wait! Am I dreaming?” Where am I? Why is there darkness while it's 11 am?” I stood for a while to comprehend. “Are we on a solar eclipse?” As I pondered about that, a car came towards me. 

“Wait, I know this car! My wife's car!” I shouted. The car stopped and my wife came out laughing loudly. “SAM!” She called laughing. 

“You!” I called angrily, “You have the guts to leave the house without waking me up, furthermore you have not cooked any breakfast for me, you want to kill me!” She continued laughing loudly as she came towards me and touched my chest.

“You too!” She said laughing more intensely. 

“Stop touching me! Why did you not wake me up for work today?” Where did you go?” I asked holding her hand to remove it from my chest. 

“Babe!” She called. 

“Yes, tell me why?” I answered. 

“Where are we?” She smiled broadly at me giving me the time to think. I stared into space, and watched the darkness for a while. I then looked back towards the gate. It was different.😂 It was not the one I was used to.

“Oh my GOD!” I shouted laughing loudly. We both hugged each other as we got inside the car and drove back to the homestead. I sat on the driver's seat. “You can't believe how I was mad at you!” 

“Babe! You too! 😂,” she said, “You can't remember we came to a new country with a different time zone?” She laughed more and more. 

“Babe, you know I forgot to reset our wall clock,” I replied, driving slowly back inside the home compound. When we finally got inside the house, I learned that she had also woken up late and gone to work without showering. When she reached to work, which was different to the place we had left in the original country, she then realized that the place was not familiar. That's when the security guard there stopped her and showed her the time. It was 4 am in the morning. She quickly came back to meet the confused me, 😂😂😂, who had woken up going to work!!!
